Cedar Valley Seminary Foundation-Olympic Medal Recreation

This giant replica of the 1948 Silver Olympic medal was created for a museum in Cedar Valley. The surface was too reflective to capture a good 3d scan of and because of its age and value we were not allowed to do anything to the surface to get a better scan so I was asked to digitally recreate the Medal from scratch in Zbrush. I did my best to capture the intricate detail of the medal and the final model was then sent to be 3D printed in wax and cast in metal.
